Here is my current project, brought on by the theme of this week (18). It is the U.S. Army Ambulance M 43. ROCO introduced this model some time ago and I had one in the "stash" so I decided it needed some improvement. I have added side mirrors, exhaust system, wipers and a rear hitch...The cabin interior has also been improved.

Here it is with a fresh coat of Drab Olive and some bright red crosses. I still have the lights and fuel cans to install and a bit of detail painting left and I'll be able to place it in the "Theme of the Week".

if you look closely at the wing in the first photo it shows on the edge where the cut was made....

I bought these Horch 901 field cars, knowing I was going to perform surgery on at least one of them if they were one piece castings of the body and top.(they are) So out came the saw and now it's the top down version.

Here are a pair of ROCO Corbitt designed "Prime Movers" that are being modified and also they qualify for this weeks "Theme". The van body was borrowed from the ROCO M109A Workshop vehicle and is now transformed into a WW2 USAAF Communications vehicle. The other vehicle in this pic. is a Standard prime mover but with the addition of half of the forward frame of the ROCO M54A truck chassis to include the 25,000 lb. winch.

Beau travail ! de beaux modèles avec une légère touche de patine.

I'm currently making improvements to this Busch Model BMW 327 Cabrio. Here we find it stripped down so I can get into all the small spaces to add "details"....
There will be license plates, exhaust tailpipe,headlights and other small refinements....

A little progress.... interior and exterior paint. Headlights drilled out for lenses and exhaust added as well as license plate...I think some decals are next.
